RLC Park Services (formerly RLC Enterprize Ltd.) was founded in 1989 by Rick Carswell. Rick worked as a Park Ranger with BC Parks right out of high school, and soon after was inspired to start his own business as a contractor to provide park operation services to Provincial Parks on Vancouver Island. Rick began with MacDonald Park, Sidney Spit, and Goldstream Park in the early 90s, and continued to grow from there. Today, RLC Park Services operates 29 provincial and regional district parks on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.
