Say hello to a few of our salmon-rific 2023 Discover Parks Ambassador Team who have been in salmon school the past couple weeks. They are eagerly anticipating the annual return of salmon and school groups! The run is a little behind with the lower water levels but our team is ahead of the curve on enthusiasm and welcoming spirit!! We can't wait to see all of you in the park!

Jerry the Moose has arrived to welcome the hungry bald eagles to Goldstream Park! Eagle numbers usually peak around a week before Christmas so we are seeing more arrive each day. Bring binoculars and come down to help Jerry count the eagles - only 5 more days of the Nature House being open before Christmas! (Today, Dec 7, 8, 9 & 10)
“This is my first Coho dissection for my last school group of the season.” Caden, affectionately named by the kids “Salmon Man”, took on the role of salmon dissection expert this season and brought so much enthusiasm, energy and respect to learning about the outside and inside of salmon. Saturday, Dec 10, is your last chance to visit Caden in the park before the Nature House closes to the public for the winter!
