About the Park

Taylor Arm Provincial Park group site area is on Sproat Lake and located 10 km to the west of Sproat Lake Provincial Park. There are three group site areas in this pleasantly wooded park for reservation; site #1 and #2 are nestled in the trees and site #3, the largest site, is within the field area. Site #1 and #2 will accommodate eight units or parties each and site #3 will accommodate 15 units or parties with a maximum of 50 per site. Each site contains a fire ring and picnic tables. There are outhouses and a fresh water pump. Sproat Lake beach area is accessible from the parking lot at the highway entrance to the group sites and via a trail underneath the highway.

Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings provided that a fire ban is not in effect. Firewood is available for purchase in the park. To preserve vegetation and ground cover, please do not gather firewood from the area around your campsite or elsewhere in the park (this is a ticketable offence under the Park Act). Dead wood is an important habitat element for many plants and animals and it adds organic matter to the soil. It is illegal to burn wood or material from the forest because it is destructive and damages the protected ecosystems within the park.
